Fine Lines & Wrinkles

For A Youthful Look

If you have fine lines and wrinkles (who doesn't?!), you can do something about it. Treat them with FDA-approved products including BOTOX® and Dysport®. Depending on your assessment, a dermal filler may also be used for facial rejuvenation. This will ensure that wrinkles and volume loss can be addressed simultaneously.

TYPES OF WRINKLES

CROWS FEET:

The common wrinkles that extend from the outer corners of the eyes. Crow's feet are the small, radial lines and wrinkles around the corners of the eyes that resemble the shape of birds' feet. You may also hear them referred to as “laugh lines” or “age lines.” Often, crow's feet are one of the first signs of aging, usually appearing in the mid-20s.

MARIONETTE LINES (PUPPET LINES):

The creases that run straight down from the corners of the mouth, formed as face begins to lose volume over time. These lines can make you look unhappy. These stubborn wrinkles are caused by a loss of collagen and elastin, which causes skin to sag.

FROWN LINES (11 LINES):

The lines in the skin that form from frowning over time, which can become permanent as the elastic fibers in the skin degenerate and cannot recover from being folded. Their formal name is glabellar lines.

WORRY LINES:

The lines created by the brows being wrinkled repeatedly, and by the skin conforming to this repeated position over time. Forehead wrinkles are also called worry lines or expression lines. When a person makes the same facial expression repeatedly, temporary lines are produced in the face.
